Lumia Denim update improved camera phone for Lumia

Lumia Denim software upgrade helps the camera on the Nokia Lumia launch faster, allows shooting while 4K video recording and improved voice assistant Cortana.

Lumia Denim update promises to upgrade the camera experience for Nokia Lumia phones.

At the IFA 2014 event, next to the new phone Microsoft also introduced Denim update for Nokia Lumia devices. Lumia 830 is the first device to run the Denim once sold. These high-end products like the Lumia 930, Lumia 1520 will receive this upgrade and will be released to all Lumia devices running Windows Phone 8.1 in the fourth quarter of this year.

Denim update brings many improvements which focus on camera experience. Microsoft claims, the new upgrade will help the Lumia phones faster camera startup. Users can capture or extract images while video recording 4K resolution. Rich Capture Mode allows customers to customize the flash, change the intensity of the light when shooting. Photo editing software on Lumia phones are also additional effects.

Besides voice assistant Cortana is also upgraded, to activate voice, "Hey, Cortana," similar to the way Apple do with Siri or Google Now.
